Rossignol BC 70 Positrack Backcountry Touring Skis 2011/2012

The Rossignol BC 70 AR Ski is a versatile mostly off-trail ski.  A stable metal edged touring/backcountry ski, the BC70 is intended for 30% on-trail and 70% off-trail use.  The BC 70 can break trail through deeper snow but  help you get down the trail on longer tours.

The BC 70 has a wood core for durability and is ideal for an off-trail excursion where you may encounter mixed snow conditions.  The full metal edge and generous sidecut gives this ski amazing turning control and the Rossicap construction makes for a tough ski. The Positrack no-wax pattern and relaxed camber height makes the BC 70 very easy to use in any condition.

Customer Reviews

I purchased these skis 3 years ago and they are still going strong. I am a big fan of the positive base because I feel like it allowed me to climb better than some other brands with a negative base. I also like that these skis will fit into a groomed track while still being able to provide enough width for when I want to explore. My favorite nordic ski! Thanks Skinny Skis!

I bought these skis from Skinny Skis Jan. 2010, and they have been awesome! After one year plus of use, the bases are still in great shape, even after hitting multiple rocks! They climb and turn great! My skiing buddy has Alpina skis, and the bases are not nearly as durable as my Rossignol skis!
