Our cross country ski hot box treatment is a highly effective method for opening up the bases of old and new skis to allow more wax to soak deeply into the base. The end result is a wax base layer that is equivalent to 20-30 wax iron passes making your skis faster and properly protecting them from drying out. Don’t burn your bases trying to achieve the same results with regular waxing. Our Swix Hot Box precisely generates the temperatures needed for ultimate wax penetration.

Hot Box Treatment Choices:
Race Ready ($35.00) - Apply a soft paraffin and place in hotbox for 3 hours. Skis are scraped and then two coats of a cold wax are ironed in a scraped. Final wax of the day is applied.
Race Ready w/Jetstream ($65.00) - Apply a soft paraffin and place in hotbox for 3 hours. Skis are scraped and then two coats of a cold wax are ironed in a scraped. Final wax of the day is applied with an overcoat of Toko Jetstream.
Custom ($55.00) - Race Ready treatment plus a 6 hour hot box treatment.
