The Swix T76 Economy Waxing Iron is a great lightweight travel iron or a good at-home basic wax iron.
Fast
Wax 80g Base Prep penetrates deeply into the ski's base to clean and
condition. This base prep is microwax with a smaller carbon structure,
and improves adhesion and durability of subsequent wax layers.
Fast Wax 80g HS 10 Teal is best for cold wind blown powdery snow, excellent in
temperatures in the high single digits. For new snow use a medium flex
ski. For cold hard pack and icy conditions, a stiff ski works best.
Fine linear grind or a 0.2 mm to 0.4 mm linear structure is ideal for cold snow.
Fast Wax 80g HS-20 Blue Hydrocarbon Glide Wax is used for everyday
skiing/racing on dry snow or layering under fluorinated waxes.
Temperature range for the HS-20 Blue is: -12 to -2°C (12 to 28°F).
Fast Wax 80g HS-30 Red Hydrocarbon Glide Wax is used for everyday
skiing/racing on dry snow or layering under fluorinated waxes.
Temperature range for the HS-10 Red is: -5 to 0°C (22 to 32°F).
Fast Wax 80g HS-40 Yellow Hydrocarbon Glide Wax is used for everyday
skiing/racing on dry snow or layering under fluorinated waxes.
Temperature range for the HS-10 Yellow is: -1 to 10°C (30 to 50°F).
The
Swix T-87 Groove Scraper is a great combination groove and all around
scraper. Very effective at removing wax from varied groove sizes and
shapes.
